Faced with this industrial heritage, we will find two different types of intervention: the musealisation of these industrial colonies as spaces of memory, or the conversion of these warehouses into new facilities that respond to emerging social needs, in a clear example of circularity such as the rehabilitation of the Vapor Cort\u00e8s.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The wealth generated by intense industrial activity has, in turn, given rise to the possibility of subsequent singular architectures and initiatives, such as the creation of the Al\u00edcia gastronomic space.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em><strong><em><strong>*This route is part of the Itineraries program of the UIA World Congress of Architects 2026 Barcelona.
