There he opened a small office that operated in parallel with the one he had in Barcelona. From then on, his personal and professional life unfolded between the Pyrenees and Barcelona.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The strong bond he established with the Pyrenees gave him a deep understanding of mountain architecture, the urban planning of towns and valleys, the types of houses in the Cerdanya region and their construction, and the Romanesque heritage of those places.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A visionary and defender of heritage, his works reveal a special sensitivity to protecting and anticipating it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2018Sometimes we will intervene quietly, loudly or in silence\u2019: these are Llu\u00eds&#8217; words that accompany us in the discovery of his buildings and in the understanding of his architecture.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This route shows a selection of his works carried out between Bergued\u00e0 and La Seu d&#8217;Urgell, from the subtle and forceful intervention in the <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.arquitecturacatalana.cat\/en\/works\/intervencions-al-monestir-de-santa-maria-de-lillet\">monastery of Santa Maria de Lillet<\/a><\/strong>, through the unusual commission to <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.arquitecturacatalana.cat\/en\/works\/nou-poble-del-pont-de-bar\">build an entire village<\/a><\/strong>, and
