His work, built over almost five decades thanks to his great capacity for work and in collaboration with builders, artists and craftsmen, is the result of an eclectic approach to projects.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This route takes in some of Sagnier&#8217;s most outstanding buildings in Barcelona, representative of different types and different moments in his career. You will find the large public buildings he designed and built in collaboration with Dom\u00e8nech i Estap\u00e0 (the <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.arquitecturacatalana.cat\/en\/works\/palau-de-justicia-de-catalunya\">Palace of Justice<\/a><\/strong>) and Garcia Faria (the <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.arquitecturacatalana.cat\/en\/works\/edifici-de-la-duana-nova\">New Customs House<\/a><\/strong>), but also apartment blocks, single-family homes, office buildings and religious facilities, commissioned by prominent clients or a wide variety of organisations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The route follows some of the urban axes where Sagnier left his mark, such as Via Laietana, Rambla de Catalunya and Avinguda del Tibidabo, although many of his outstanding projects have not been preserved. Two works, the <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.arquitecturacatalana.cat\/en\/works\/la-caixa-de-pensions\">Pension Fund Building of Barcelona<\/a><\/strong> and the <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.arquitecturacatalana.cat\/en\/works\/casa-ignasi-coll-portabella\">Coll Portabella Villa<\/a><\/strong>, received the Barcelona City Council&#8217;s architecture award.
