The route begins at Tur\u00f3 del Carmel, from where we will visit the <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.arquitecturacatalana.cat\/en\/works\/restauracio-de-les-bateries-antiaeries-del-turo-de-la-rovira\">old Carmel batteries and the MUHBA<\/a><\/strong>, a testament to the history of the city and its transformations. The tour continues in <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.arquitecturacatalana.cat\/en\/works\/parc-del-guinardo\">Guinard\u00f3 Park<\/a><\/strong>, designed by <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.arquitecturacatalana.cat\/en\/authors\/nicolau-maria-rubio-i-tuduri\">Rubi\u00f3<\/a><\/strong> i <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.arquitecturacatalana.cat\/en\/authors\/jeanclaudenicolas-forestier\">Forestier<\/a><\/strong>, a pioneer in the conception of Barcelona&#8217;s green spaces, offering a fusion of nature and history.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Descending towards the <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.arquitecturacatalana.cat\/en\/works\/reforma-dels-jardins-del-doctor-pla-i-armengol\">Pla i Armengol gardens<\/a><\/strong>, a hidden gem that combines botanical beauty and architecture, we then head towards <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.arquitecturacatalana.cat\/en\/works\/reforma-de-lavinguda-gaudi\">Avinguda Gaud\u00ed<\/a><\/strong>, which links the <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.arquitecturacatalana.cat\/en\/works\/hospital-de-la-santa-creu-i-sant-pau\">Hospital de Sant Pau<\/a><\/strong> with the <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.arquitecturacatalana.cat\/en\/works\/-GC096-1\">Sagrada Fam\u00edlia<\/a><\/strong>, on a walk that highlights the balance between urbanism and greenery. Next, the gardens of Clotilde Cerd\u00e0 i Carlit and the <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.arquitecturacatalana.cat\/en\/works\/jardi-de-la-torre-de-les-aigues\">Torre de les Aig\u00fces garden<\/a><\/strong> offer examples of the evolution of the design of small green spaces within the dense urban fabric of the inner blocks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">From <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.arquitecturacatalana.cat\/en\/works\/remodelacio-del-passeig-de-sant-joan-fase-1\">Passeig de Sant Joan<\/a><\/strong>, one of Barcelona&#8217;s most emblematic green axes, we arrive at <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.arquitecturacatalana.cat\/en\/works\/reconstruccio-del-monument-al-doctor-robert\">Pla\u00e7a de Tetuan<\/a><\/strong>, before continuing along the <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.arquitecturacatalana.cat\/en\/works\/eix-verd-carrer-girona\">green axis of Carrer de Girona<\/a><\/strong>, a contemporary commitment to sustainability and mobility. Finally, crossing <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.arquitecturacatalana.cat\/en\/works\/urbanitzacio-del-parc-de-la-ciutadella\">Ciutadella Park<\/a><\/strong>, the route ends at the sea, in Barceloneta, where the city meets the water. The itinerary follows the topography of one side of the city, on a route that brings together the work of landscape architects and urban planners from different periods, revealing the constant
