His work is accompanied by all the arts and dialogues with them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This route highlights the intimate link between Dom\u00e8nech i Montaner&#8217;s architecture and key authors in our literature.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We will start at the top of Passeig de Gr\u00e0cia, at <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.arquitecturacatalana.cat\/en\/works\/casa-fuster\">Casa Fuster<\/a><\/strong> (1911), where Salvador Espriu, one of the most prominent voices in 20th-century Catalan poetry, lived between 1942 and 1972. A commemorative plaque reminds us of this.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We will walk down to Carrer d&#8217;Arag\u00f3, to the <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.arquitecturacatalana.cat\/en\/works\/fundacio-antoni-tapies\">Fundaci\u00f3 T\u00e0pies<\/a><\/strong>. T\u00e0pies chose a building by Dom\u00e8nech i Montaner for his foundation with the intention of interacting with it. Behind the visual artist was a lucid writer and profound thinker, author of memorable texts, and one of his sons, Antoni T\u00e0pies i Barba, a poet of considerable importance, has taken up the thread.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We will continue to the <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.arquitecturacatalana.cat\/en\/works\/palau-de-la-musica-catalana\">Palau de la M\u00fasica Catalana<\/a><\/strong> (1908), one of Dom\u00e8nech i Montaner&#8217;s most admired works, associated with the organisation that has its headquarters there, the Orfe\u00f3 Catal\u00e0, and its anthem, \u201cEl cant de la senyera\u201d, a poem by Joan Maragall with music by Llu\u00eds Millet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Next to La Rambla is the <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.arquitecturacatalana.cat\/en\/works\/reforma-interior-de-la-fonda-espanya\">Fonda Espanya<\/a><\/strong>, renovated by Dom\u00e8nech i Montaner (1903). Josep Rodoreda, composer of the music for Jacint Verdaguer&#8217;s Virolai, was born there. A plaque on the fa\u00e7ade of the building commemorates this fact.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We will then go to <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.arquitecturacatalana.cat\/en\/works\/urbanitzacio-del-parc-de-la-ciutadella\">Ciutadella Park<\/a><\/strong>, to the <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.arquitecturacatalana.cat\/en\/works\/caferestaurant-de-lexposicio-internacional-de-1888\">Castle of the Three Dragons<\/a><\/strong>, a caf\u00e9-restaurant from the 1888 Universal Exhibition, popularly named after the play of the same name by Seraf\u00edn Soler \u2018Pitarra\u2019 from 1865. We will end the route at the Catalan Art Nouveau complex of the <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.arquitecturacatalana.cat\/en\/works\/hospital-de-la-santa-creu-i-sant-pau\">Hospital de Sant Pau<\/a><\/strong>.
